Based on a couple of comments in some of the recent updates I have done which featured the bootleg version of this new trailer it sounds like some of you are digging it and now may have changed your minds and — dare I say — now looking forward to The Twilight Saga: New Moon this coming November 20?

I like the books but the first movie was awful… I gotta say this trailer built a lot of anticipation for me though.
I love the first movie (ironically)- it's the most horribly awesome movie of recent years. This one just looks like it'll up the ante with even worse special effects and poor plot development. (yes!)
This is definitely a well-done trailer. Unlike the first film, where the trailers deteriorated with each one, these trailers just get a bit better and a bit better.
One thing: however godawful and unrealistic the love story is (I mostly do Twilight for the laughs), at least Edward Cullen has chest hair. I don't think I could bear it if he was one of those nancy-boys you see on TV shows that have baby-bare chests. I know this is how the werewolves are, but they're Native American, and Native Americans often don't have chest hair.

It just looks to be a huge improvement over Twilight. I don't get the steely blue look the first one had. It looks better.
Um…Edward doesn't get beat up like that in the book. That's purely for the dramatic effect. But Dakota Fanning looks great.
I can't wait for this movie to come out in november. the special effects are so much better. Their eyes are way better than in Twilight. Dakota Fanning looks awesome.
I like Dakota Fanning… think she is pretty good… but with this movie she looses a bit of credibility for me… and so does martin sheen. Twilight is a result of mass hysteria… Rpatz looks awful- not even remotely deserving of the sex symbol status

Lordy, lordy. What campish crap. People really go for this, "I can't live without him" stuff? Well, when I was 14, I might have too. Might. What I can't understand is all the full grown adults who are fans. But the world is a big place and has room for much variety.
At the end of the day, this movie looks a lot better, I knew one thing was going to happen when Chris was directing…it's going to look good, The Golden Compass may have sucked story wise but I love the look of the film. The first Twilight looked a cheap mess, that blue tint was awful, Underworld is a movie where the blue-ish tint worked.
OH MY GOD, i didn't know what this one was about, and after seen this trailer, i think both, movie and book, SUCK BIG TIME!, i mean…i don't think anybody cand write a script that can save the storyline, it's just crap, pure drama with no base or foundaments + vampires and werewolfs, hope you people, teen angst victims, will love it

After seeing this trailer I can't believe Stephenie Meyer still has the nerve to say she wasn't inspired by Anna Rice. Am I the only one who sees Claudia in Jane?
