People Explode in Red Band Trailer for Schwarzenegger's 'Last Stand'

A new red band trailer for The Last Stand starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Johnny Knoxville has arrived and it offers up a little blood and an exploding body.

The Last Stand hits theaters on January 18 and marks Arnold's most recent return to the big screen as Ray Owens, sheriff in the border town of Sommerton Junction who finds his sleepy day-to-day grind disrupted by Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), a wanted drug kingpin who just escaped from an FBI prisoner convoy.

With the help of a band of lawless mercenaries led by Burrell (Peter Stormare), Cortez begins racing towards the US-Mexico border with a hostage in tow. Guess what, Arnold is gonna stop him. The film co-stars Rodrigo Santoro, Jaimie Alexander, Zach Gilford, Forest Whitaker, Johnny Knoxville and Genesis Rodriguez.

I'm actually a little interested in seeing this one, more for the fact it marks the English-language directorial debut of Jee-Woon Kim (I Saw the Devil, The Good, the Bad, the Weird) than anything else, but I guess that's enough.
