The First Two Official Photos from 'Avatar'
Hey look... it's an avatar...
Fox International has released the first two official photos from James Cameron's Avatar. The pic above previews one of the organic avatars in an incubation tube along with Sam Worthington who plays Jake Sully. An avatar is what humans have themselves "jacked" into in order to walk the surface of Pandora, and that is Jake's avatar.
As previously mentioned, I first got a look at what you see above at the footage screened at Comic Con and I fully expect it to be part of the upcoming "Avatar Day" on August 21, but we already told you how we feel about that.

If that Avatar behind him is cgi, then damn I'm impressed. I was expecting them to be more cat like a less human-like, though.
If this thing ends up sucking; we'll never see this much hype over a movie ever!
A interesting question; is The Sorrogates going to hurt this movie as it has a very similar plot, or will nobody see it because they rather see a James Cameron movie (Avatar)?
As much as I want this movie to be good and do well, I gotta a feeling this might be a financial disaster. What say thee?
