Terrence Howard is the man. The man, the man, the man. This guy made the most of 2005 with one fantastic performance after another. So what does the future hold? Well, aside from five films he is already attached to Variety tells us that he is in final talks to star in P.D.R. for Lionsgate and director Sunu Gonera.

The film is based on the true story of inner city Philadelphia swim coach Jim Ellis. The story revolves around Ellis' fight to build a swim team in one of Philly's toughest neighborhoods in the 1970s. Ultimately, Ellis leads the swimmers to the state championships. ("P.D.R." stands for Philadelphia Dept. of Recreation).

On top of this bit of casting news it was also confirmed that Howard has joined the cast of August Rush for Warner Bros. and director Kirsten Sheridan. The film already stars Freddie Highmore, Robin Williams, Liv Tyler, Keri Russell and Jonathan Rhys Meyers and is set in Central Park and is the story of a boy who has lost his parents and embarks on a magical musical journey to be reunited with them.
