The Wolfpack is back

Warner Bros. has just debuted the teaser trailer for The Hangover Part II, which is set to hit theaters on May 26 and they're using critical quotes from the first film to sell it set to Jay-Z's "Reminder". I will admit, the Mike Tyson face tat Helms is sporting above is quite funny, but noticeably missing from the short teaser is Justin Bartha, which tells me we are possibly looking at the exact same story as last time around, only this time Vegas is replaced by Thailand.
Here's the official synopsis:
In The Hangover Part II, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu's wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don't always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can't even be imagined.
Also expected to appear are Ken Jeong, Sasha Barrese, Liam Neeson, Mike Tyson, Jamie Chung, Paul Giamatti and Bill Clinton.

Much as I thoroughly enjoyed the first film this smacks of being a carbon copy of it.
Just lost a lot of interest. It should easily clear $100 million though so as long as they didn't go crazy on the budget they should be fine financially.
I liked this teaser. This movie could be brilliant. Looks much better than Sex and the City 2 already.
Could you imagine if this movie won a Golden Globe at next year's ceremony?
Imagine the Comedy/Musical nominees in next year's ceremony: it could be the greatest lineup of nominees in any year.
The Hangover Part 2
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

The Inbetweeners Movie
What could go wrong with these being nominees.
Win Win almost has to be on there.
Kind of funny to think that this movie is opening the same day as The Tree of Life.
Not that anyone would flock to Tree of Life.
They didn't even bother to really put anything in this teaser. Lame.
Remember how fantastic that very, very first Hangover teaser was? It was edited so well, with all those flashes of ridiculousness from the night before, accompanied with "Joker and the Thief". It at least had JOKES in it.
This is nothing, it's as if they expect us to get excited that the main characters are doing a slow-motion walk through Bangkok.
(OK, I'm still totally excited for this movie, but doesn't make the trailer any more interesting.)
Exactly, I get a sense that the campaign for this will essentially rest on the laurels of the first and make the assumption they don't have to do any actual serious marketing to make the film appeal to anyone who perhaps missed the first one.
i.e Laziness on their part.
