Tatum Joins Phillippe in 'Stop Loss'
Iraq war drama has two soldiers.
Word came out last Friday that Ryan Phillippe had joined Kimberly Peirce's Iraq war drama Stop Loss for Paramount Pictures and today we learn that Channing Tatum has also joined the production.
The drama tells the story of a soldier (Phillippe) who finishes a tour of duty in Iraq only to be told that he has to serve another so he goes AWOL. Tatum plays a hot-shot fighter from Texas.
Variety goes on to say that the film was expected to get started in April but the casting process took longer than expected as filmmakers worked out Phillippe's schedule.
