Tamblyn Suffers a 'Blackout'
Actress ready for next thriller
Amber Tamblyn will be seen in theaters this Friday in The Grudge 2, but it won't be her last thriller as she has already found herself cast in the indie thriller Blackout for director Rigoberto Castaneda.
The script was penned by Ed Dougherty and Morabito and revolves around three people who are trapped in a hospital elevator for almost 24 hours as what at first seems like an inconvenience turns into a nightmare. Tamblyn will play a young woman who is trying to get to her grandmother in the hospital who is moments away from death.
Joining Tamblyn in the cast are Aidan Gillen and Armie Hammer. Gillen plays a doctor who happens to be a psychopathic killer while Hammer will play a teen who wants to run away with his girlfriend.
Shooting is set to get underway next month in Spain.
