Take In the First Poster for Chris Nolan's 'Inception'
Your mind is still the scene of the crime
Since releasing the teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight follow-up Inception back in August not a peep has been heard, but today the first poster for the film has arrived to further confuse matters.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and is described as a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind. The tagline remains "Your mind is the scene of the crime," and it looks like Leo is getting all wet. What does it all mean? Hell if I know and I don't want to know before settling into my seat when the film arrives in theaters on July 16, 2010.

Wow… they're really trying to remind people of The Dark Knight as much as possible, aren't they? This is very similar to both the Joker and the Batman posters for The Dark Knight. And there's that blue tint…

Yeah that looks a little bit too much like The Dark Knight poster to me, but it's still an awesome poster.
This is my most anticipated film for next year, I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Have been looking forward to this since I first heard about it, never been disappointed by Nolan, this should be the movie of 2010.
What can I say. I've watched the trailer 2 times now and I still don't know what happened. Not saying it will compare at all but this feels like a Donnie Darko type film.
God, I can't wait to see this movie.

Wonder why only Leo gets his name put in the trailer/poster. With a stellar cast like this, why not advertise it? Same thing with Shutter Island.
I wonder when this will be rated by the MPAA…?
Because Leo's the biggest and most recognizable name in the cast?
Because people are much more likely to go see a film starring Leo than JGL?

This movie is gonna be big! Not Iron Man 2 big, but I'm thinking Oscar big! I'm pumped, most anticipated movie for me in 2010! And apparently there is going to be a new trailer with "Sherlock Holmes" on Christmas!
As a Batman fan and of Chris Nolan's films all I can say is: this poster and this movie ROCK!
P.D: Yeah, that poster made me think about Batman 3, but I'm sure Inception will be 2010's best film, and another huge blockbuster film from Chris Nolan.
I can tell you this much Brad: This is a film where I will most certainly abide by your "stay away from trailers" mindset. I have the utmost respect for Chris Nolan as a filmmaker, and if he thinks the best way to see the film is to know as little as possible, then that's the way it should be.
I actually like this better than the Dark Knoght poster. Maybe because there's no disracting purple coat, maybe its the water, maybe it's the fact that it's more like a theatrical poster, I don't know.
