Sydney Pollack Dies of Cancer

Academy Award winner passed away Monday afternoon
CNN is reporting that Academy Award-winning director Sydney Pollack died of cancer this Monday afternoon at his home in Pacific Palisades. He was 73.
Pollack won the Oscar for Best Director with the 1986 film Out of Africa, which also went on to win six other Oscars including Best Picture.
He was seen as recently as, the still in theaters, Made of Honor as well as Michael Clayton.
The news was reported by Pollack's agent, Leslee Dart.

R.I.P. Mr. Pollack. You will be greatly missed. Michael Clayton was a great movie because of the script, director, and especially its actors. He was absolutely awesome in it. A sad, sad loss for all of us into films.
