Strause Brothers Directing 'AVP 2'

Thanks to ComingSoon.net we are directed to the official website of Greg and Colin Strause, better known as the Brothers Strause, whom have just confirmed yesterday's rumor from IGN FilmForce saying that the two will direct the upcoming sequel Alien vs. Predator 2.
The brothers are best known for their visual effects work via their company Hydraulx on such recent films as X-Men: The Last Stand, Poseidon, Fantastic Four, Constantine and the list goes on. As far as directing feature films go, the two are virgins.
The news that they will direct AVP 2 comes directly from their official site, which keeps it very simple saying, "The Bros. have signed on to direct their first feature." I would expect this news to hit the trades any day now.
Alien vs. Predator 2 is currently slated for an August 10, 2007 release.
