Stiller Predicts 'Tropic Thunder'
Ben will direct and star in the comedy
Production Weekly is reporting that Ben Stiller is set to star in and direct Tropic Thunder, a film he has been developing since 1987.
Stiller penned the script with with Etan Cohen (no, not Ethan, the spelling is correct) and Justin Theroux. The story is about the making of a big-budget war movie where everything that can go wrong does, and where the actors end up becoming the commandos they are playing.
Filming is currently scheduled to begin in July.
Recently Stiller has been lighting up the box-office with Night at the Museum, which has amassed over $170 mllion at the U.S. box-office since its December 22 release.
