'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World' Trailer… in 4D
Whatever that means
The trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World has arrived marking the fourth film in a franchise I have yet to see a single installment of.
With him Rodriguez tows along Jessica Alba, Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, Jeremy Piven, Joel McHale and the voice work of Ricky Gervais. As far as story goes, I've included the full synopsis just below the trailer and you can check out three stills from the film right here.
Dimension will release the film on August 19, the same weekend as Conan the Barbarian, Fright Night and One Day.
On the surface, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has it all…married to a famous spy hunting television reporter, a new baby and intelligent twin step kids. But in reality, trying to mother Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook), who clearly don't want her around, is her toughest challenge yet. Also, her husband, Wilbur (Joel McHale), wouldn't know a spy if he lived with one which is exactly the case – Marissa's a retired secret agent.
Marissa's world is turned upside down when the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) threatens to take over the planet and she's called back into action by the head of OSS, home of the greatest spies and where the now-defunct Spy Kids division was created. With Armageddon quickly approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are thrust into action when they learn their boring stepmom was once a top agent and now the world's most competitive ten year olds are forced to put their bickering aside and rely on their wits. With a little help from a couple of very familiar Spy Kids, Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara), and some mind-blowing gadgets, they just may be able to save the world and possibly bring their family together while they're at it.

I at least give Rodriguez respect for having the balls to make this film.
Would be so stupid looking if it still followed the original storyline
I think i need to bleach my eyes… And as to rub salt in an open wound, Ricky Gervais's tones always make me wanna tear off my ears, why doesn't Rodriguez just make Sin City 2 and be done with it!
o god, looks awful
It's official. I'm watching One Day that weekend.
This looks like a bad made-for-tv movie airing Friday night on the Disney Channel. And, Rodriguez's characters always seem really shallow.
4D, basically 3D with "sensory immersion", like making the room you're watching windy when it gets windy in film.
It's kond of like if 3D were slightly more gimicky and annoying to an audience trying to watch a film. They pretty much only use them in Amusement Park's and stuff to that affect.
As for the film, as some one said, made for Disney TV Movie standard just with bigger actors looking for decent pay checks.
And here I assumed it was a reference to time being the fourth dimension in physics, following the three dimensions of space.
Also, those kids have aged so much.
That looks so frickin awful. I can't believe he rejected Deadpool to reboot Spy Kids 1 with cameos. I have lost some respect for him. I think I read somewhere that this is supposed to be the start of a new batch of movies or something. Anywho, just more wasted money in Hollywood.
This makes me feel like a Spy Grandpa.
it looks okay
