Speed Racer's Rival Drives a Sweet Ride
I really can't wait to see this movie...
After seeing the trailer for Speed Racer I know it split the online perception of the film 50/50 and there really was no middle ground. Either people hated the trailer or loved it and became wildly interested. I am the latter, I thought the trailer was truly visionary and certainly unique, something the box-office needs and the Wachowskis have proven to deliver on.
Well, Coming Soon has found the first look at Speed Racer's rival's car in the film. It's a super sleak vehicle and it looks like the team driving the car is a real Japanese auto racing team known as "Autobacs Racing Team Aguri" or "ARTA".
Coming Soon found the photos via Rocket Punch Auto Blog who go on to say that the futuristic machine that will be appearing in the movie was unveiled to the Japanese press in the current Tokyo Auto Salon, complete with the actual team number and color scheme of the ARTA's Super GT 300 machine.
