Sorvino and Connelly Hold a 'Reservation'
Mira might be back to her Oscar ways
Mira Sorvino won an Oscar back in 1996 but since then her career hasn't exactly been filled with Oscar contending roles, that may be changing. Sorvino will be joining fellow Oscar-winner Jennifer Connelly as the duo have both signed on to star opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo in Reservation Road for Hotel Rwanda helmer Terry George.
The film is an adaptation of John Burnham Shwartz's novel which tells the story of two families who collide when the father of one kills the son of the other in a hit-and-run. Phoenix and Ruffalo are the fathers, and Jennifer Connelly will be Phoenix's wife. Sorvino will play Ruffalo's ex-wife.
Shwartz drafted the screenplay based on his book with revisions by George.
