Sofia Coppola is Taking a Jackass 'Somewhere'
Can't wait to see what Coppola has to offer this time
Sofia Coppola's fourth feature film has just added a Jackass star to the fold as Chris Pontius joins the drama Somewhere, which Coppola wrote and will direct for Focus Features. Pontius joins Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning.
Somewhere centers on a bad-boy actor (Dorff) stumbling through a life of excess at the Chateau Marmont. With an unexpected visit from his 11-year-old daughter (Fanning), he is forced to reexamine his life. Pontius will play Sammy, the best friend of Dorff's character.
Filming will get underway in June and July in Los Angeles and Italy.
