Six More Sign on to Star with Duff
Variety reports that six new stars have signed on to co-star with Hilary Duff in Heart of Summer to be distributed by New Line Cinema.
Those signing on to the film are John Corbett, Rebecca De Mornay, Lauren Mayhew, Jason Ritter and Ashlee Simpson. The flick is a coming-of-age project where Corbett will portray a music teacher, with Ritter in the role of Duff's brother, De Mornay as her aunt, Simpson as her best friend and Mayhew as a fellow student. No release date information was announced.
