My only thing is that I would hate for one of the characters to have to be recast simply due to issues over money, especially with how it might disappoint the legions of Harry Potter fans out there. These movies are made for them after all. Yeah, money is what drives the machine, but without those fans there won't be any money.

to be honest, I wouldn't be thaaat dissappointed if he doesn't come back, I was never too fond of oldman playing sirius, (can't quite forget him as the bad guy in fith element, or forget the movie for that matter) just got used to him. If he doesn't come back, I hope they get someone better

Hey bandit, the thing you have to pay attention to is that Oldman's schedule is filling up. It isn't about blocking him, and I can only assume that in the end he will be in the movie, but if he doesn't have time to film he doesn't have time to film. I am praying they don't let this go too far though.

it doesn't say a thing, alan rickman will also just start filming in april and also hasn't started yet..they can't just block Oldman from the movie…
