'Sin City' Hottie Sticks with Miller
Jamie King has 'The Spirit'
Looks like Frank Miller's The Spirit just gets hotter and hotter as Jaime King, a.k.a. Goldie from Sin City. is joining fellow hotties Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, Eva Mendes as Sand Saref and Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellen Dolan.
IESB is reporting the news and goes on to say that her character at this time remains a mystery.
The film is adapated from Will Eisner's graphic novels, and tells the story of a man (Gabriel Macht) who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus (Sam Jackson) — who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face — has a different mission: he's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront… all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill our masked crusader.
Lionsgate is releasing the film, which is currently set for a January 16, 2009 release.
