SILENT HILL Gets Feature Adaptation
Silent Hill latest in line of videogame to movie adaptations...
It looks as if Silent Hill will be the latest videogame to get its very own feature film adaptation as Pulp Fiction screenwriter, Roger Avary, is penning the screenplay with Christophe Gans on board to direct the picture.
Ganes helmed the awesome French actioner Brotherhood of the Wolf and Focus Features will be handling overseas sales, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it turn to a Rogue Pictures release considering the nature of the story.
Silent Hill is a freaky little vid that centers on a mother and daughter seeking to uncover the secrets of the seemingly abandoned town of the game's title.
A start date of March 2005 is tentatively set to begin production, which would probably mean a late '05 release.
