On the heels of the reveal of the new "Entertainment Weekly" Summer Movie Preview cover featuring Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale promoting The Dark Knight Rises we now have seven images from the film that will be featured in the issue courtesy of Batman-News.

The images feature all the likely candidates from Hathaway as Catwoman, Bale as Batman and Tom Hardy as the film's villain Bane. Plus a look at Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a Gotham City police officer and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox.

All seven images can be viewed by clicking on any of the thumbnails below.

Personally, I'm curious to see Catwoman in action because right now the costume isn't doing it for me. I don't know why I easily accept Bruce Wayne dressing up as a bat and not Selina Kyle dressing up as a cat, maybe it's the fact that Batman's face is covered to a greater extent. I'm not sure, but something about it just seems off to me.

Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' The Dark Knight Rises is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar winner Christian Bale (The Fighter) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar winner Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.

Returning to the main cast, Oscar winner Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby) reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on Batman Begins and the record-breaking blockbuster The Dark Knight. The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Loving the picture of Bane, for sure. Might have to pick up EW when it hits newsstands.

Also, any idea when we'll see a new trailer? Based on what shows for TDK's trailers, the second full trailer was released on 5/4/08.

Should we be expecting a new TDKR trailer within the next 3 weeks, then?

Personally, I'm already in love with how Catwoman looks, and I'm trying to mean that more in a sense of how it looks rather than just going with everything they do with the character. I think it's going to have fun tricks, and honestly, I think that the fact that she has a gun is hands down awesome. A character with a whip in the Nolan world with have been a stretch to be sure, though interesting to see them pull it off, but at the same time the fact now that she has a gun is simply brutal. This woman is a villain, no bullshiting around, give her a gun. I'm loving it.

I like Catwoman. It will all go to Hathaway's performance in the end, of course, but I like her look so far. Very old fashioned and simple.
