Hoping this will be one of Fall's little gems
The poster seemed to excite a lot of the folks on the Internet, presumably with the idea that we may be getting a classic throwback style movie from Anton Corbijn's The American starring George Clooney as a private assassin who's declared his next job will be his last. A new trailer has hit the web so give it a peek below and see if it does anymore to your anticipation level as September 1 is already a date I have circled on my calendar.

Hello Oscar.
Its September 1st release date is slightly worrying, though. I think this is an Oscar bait film, and it could be pretty good, but I don't think it'll actually get any nominations. I'm predicting 50-75% on RT and a $40mil box office ceiling.
I think it will be a disappointment. Looks boring to me.
