'Se7en' Scribe Gets 'Convoyeur' Duties
Paramount readies a French remake...
No surprise here as the original ideas continue to evade Paramount Pictures. They have just recently bought the rights to remake the French crime thriller Le Convoyeur and tapped Andrew Kevin Walker, the man resposible for one of the coolest movies ever, Seven.
The original film begins as a man drives with his son behind an armored car. When masked gunmen pull a heist on the vehicle, they open fire on the car behind them, killing the boy. Suspecting an inside job, the grieving father takes a job at the armored car company, bent on avenging his son's death.
