Universal laffer picks up an actor.
Variety is reporting that Universal Pictures has bought the rights to the comedy script Book of Leo and tapped Seann William Scott to star. The film will follow a man dissatisfied with the way his life has turned out. He decides to try to do everything he ever wanted to do, all in the week before his 30th birthday.
Scott can currently be seen in The Dukes of Hazzard and is wrapping up filming on Richard Kelly's Southland Tales set for release sometime next year.
