Schumacher to Direct the 'Inland Saints'
New supernatural drama set up at Paramount
Paramount Pictures has picked up the pitch Inland Saints from screenwriter Kurt Sutter and has attached Joel Schumacher to direct.
The supernatural urban drama about love, betrayal and need, is about teens who fall in love. He's the leader of a dangerous street gang; she's the daughter of the detective hired to bring down the gang.
Schumacher last directed Jim Carrey in the overwhelming flop The Number 23 which amassed only $35 million at the box-office.
There is no word on how far along the script is so to say this is anything more than early talk of a movie that might be made would be a lie.
