Scarlett Johansson Goes Around with 'Brilliance'
From music vid to the movies
Music video director Samuel Bayer teamed with Justin Timberlake and Scarlett Johansson to bring us the nine-and-a-half minute Nick Cassavettes written "What Goes Around… Comes Around" mini-movie music video, which you can watch below. Bayer directed the video and apparently Johansson made a bit of am impression on the helmer as he has now cast her in his upcoming diamond heist flick Brilliance.
Brilliance, as Bayer told MTV, is about diamond thieves and shooting is expected to begin this winter. This is the first we have heard of the film and will mark Bayer's feature directorial debut.
As for his choice of Scarlett he said, "Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around… she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won't catch. She was shooting that on a green screen, and right before we were rolling, she was laughing. We start, and she's crying. It was just unbelievable. It's stuff like that which makes you know someone's a star."
Scarlett's star power can be called into question considering the disappointing box-office figures surrounding all of her recent films including a terrible performance in her most recent film The Nanny Diaries.
There is no denying she has the curves, but she is yet to prove she can duplicate the performance she gave us back in 2003 in Lost in Translation.
Now, check out that music video.

Actually, her performance in "Lost in Translation" is nothing compared to the ones she gave in both "The Horse Whisperer" and (especially) the absolutely brilliant "Ghost World." If you really want to see what the actress is capable of I sugest you check those two out (just be prepared to nap through large portions of that first one).
Scarlet Johansson has somewhat seemed bland to me. Her roles never seem interesting or have any thunder behind them.
beautiful girl. i like her style
