Sarsgaard Joins 'Jarhead' Cast
Gulf War drama adds one more.
Variety is reporting that Peter Sarsgaard has been added to the cast of Jarhead, where he will be starring alongside already cast Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx for director Sam Mendes.
Production for the Gulf War memoir begins today and Sarsgaard will be playing Troy, a member of an elite Marine sniper unit who befriends and mentors scribe Swoff (Gyllenhaal). Foxx plays Sgt. Siekh, who heads up the sniper squadron that experiences the terror, humor and uncertainty of a fight in the blazing desert against an enemy they can't see.
