Ruffalo Stays TRUE
Actor set to join Truman Capote biopic.
Mark Ruffalo has signed on has the killer Perry Smith in Warner Independent Pictures/Killer Films' Every Word Is True.
The film is about Truman Capote and his investigation into the 1959 murders of a wealthy Kansas family of four. What starts out as a journey to figure out "whodunit" with his childhood friend Harper Lee turns into something utterly unexpected: an intense and complex bond with one of the murderers that inspired his greatest work ("In Cold Blood") and indelibly changed his life.
The film already boasts a large cast of names including Toby Jones, Mark Wahlberg, Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sigourney Weaver and is set for an April 29, 2005 release date.
