Ruffalo Sees Through 'Blindness'
New role teams Mark with Fernando
You have to admit that Fernando Meirelles has a serious eye for making good movies, City of God and The Constant Gardener are quite the filmography starters and now Mark Ruffalo has hitched his wagon to the Meirelles caravan teaming him with Julianne Moore in Blindness.
Blindness is an adaptation of the Jose Saramago novel about an outbreak of blindness that sweeps an unidentified town. Ruffalo will play a doctor who loses his sight along with everyone else in town, except the doc's wife.
Filming on the project begins this summer in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
