UPDATED: Ron Weasley Gets Busy in 'Cherrybomb' Trailer
I wonder if Hogwarts approves of this behavior
UPDATE: The earlier promo trailer has been removed, but you can now watch the first actual trailer from the film below.
Rupert Grint, best known as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, is shedding his geeky wizard persona for minute and stars as Malachy in Cherrybomb for directors Lisa Barros D'Sa and Glenn Leyburn and an R-rated promo trailer for the film has made its way online.
The film debuted at the Berlin International Film Festival in February, but has yet to be picked up for a formal domestic release. The film follows teenagers Luke (Robert Sheehan), Malachy (Grint) and Michelle (Kimberley Nixon) as they embark on a wild weekend of drink, drugs, shop-lifting and stealing cars. But what starts out as a game turns deadly serious when the three discover that they can't get off the wild ride they've set in motion.
Check out the trailer below and beware of a little bit of bad language:

Is that Rupert snorting a line of coke and getting down with a girl? Damn! My eyes cannot believe what they're seeing. My likes it though!
As a huge Harry Potter fan, I have to say this actually looks good and Rupert looks amazing. Can't wait to see it!
No bad language, hardly any language at all. Or are you referring to the sound track? I didn't pay attention to that. This looks good, but we all know it's impossible to say from a trailer. (I remember thinking Patch Adams was going to be funny from the trailer. Haven't trusted them since.) Not getting distribution isn't any judge either, so what was the reaction at the festival?
Generator Films company now has the official trailer up.
Wow, I really can't wait for this. Get it, get it Rupe-dog!
