Rodriguez Flying High with 'Jetsons'
Yesterday's word proves true
LatinoReview must get a chuckle out of these stories when they are not mentioned for breaking the news first as one of their three scoops from yesterday has already made its way to the trades as The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Robert Rodriguez is indeed in talks to helm the live-action Jetsons feature for Warner Bros. However, one thing they didn't mention is that Rodriguez is also eyeing the directorial job on the Land of the Lost adaptation of which Will Ferrell is attached to star.
Even though the Land of the Lost project seems to have been around forever word is that Rodriguez is leaning toward the Jetsons feature as the script by Adam Goldberg is further along.
So after Grindhouse's box-office debacle Rodriguez looks to go mainstream, but will it be spaceships or dinosaurs for the helmer?
