Rock Heads to 'Beverly Hills'
Another turn at a script for Chris.
Chris Rock teamed with Ali LeRoi on such scripts as Head of State and Down to Earth, and Variety tells us the two are teaming again as Chris Rock will star in, write and co-produce The Gilmores of Beverly Hills for Paramount Pictures.
Rock has not necessarily had a ton of luck with his films but with his two recent turns in Madagascar and The Longest Yard making over $120 million this past Memorial Day weekend things may be looking up.
As far as Gilmores, it will apparently touch some of the same turf as Fox Searchlight's 1998 comedy The Slums of Beverly Hills, but won't be a remake. Rock will star as a limo driver in the flick.
