Dennis Lim profiled Christoph Waltz in The New York Times based on his fantastic performance in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds. Here's a snippet:
I’ve tried to analyze why actors are often better in Quentin’s films than in other films, and I think it’s because he doesn’t expose them to the necessity of bad acting…He doesn’t specify the intended effect or ask you to show motivations. And he makes it easy for you to be on the character’s side.
Meanwhile, David Segal, also at The New York Times, wrote a 4500-word piece on how the Weinsteins are in trouble. I didn't read it, but if you haven't paid much attention to the story as time has gone on maybe you'll be interested. Click here if you are.

ComingSoon snatched up a bunch of paparazzi set pics from Chris Nolan's Inception. They do nothing more than confirm the fact that someone owns a camera and Leonardo DiCaprio is in the movie, but if you like you can get a look right here.
A new rumor I have no faith in is being reported by the UK tabloid "The Mirror" saying Guy Ritchie is reshooting Sherlock Holmes scenes and bringing in Brad Pitt in to play Moriarty, Sherlock's arch nemesis. This rumor wants us to believe they completely rewrote the script to include Moriarty while Mark Strong's Lord Blackwood is already the villain. Who's buying this? [Digital Spy]

SlashFilm points us in the direction of this fan version of the Ninja Assassin trailer only this one is made out of LEGOS. I added both versions directly below for comparison. Have fun with that…

You're instincts about Brad Pitt and Moriarty were correct, Brad.
A studio rep tells US magazine:
"The report in today’s London Mirror is completely inaccurate. Brad Pitt is not joining the cast of Sherlock Holmes and we're extremely pleased with the production of the film. As planned, it will be released on Christmas Day, 2009. In order to complete the movie, we've scheduled a few days on set to shoot a couple of additional scenes, obtain pick-up shots, and perfect some of the visual effects elements, all of which is standard filmmaking practice."
[In my defense, I was steered to the US link through HuffPo. It's not on my daily surf agenda. Not that the Entertainment of HuffPo is much less tawdry.]
Brad, the LEGOS mention in the article teaser scared the hell outta me. I was ready to pull my hair out. That was a great head fake! ;-)
I am so pumped for Inception it's ridiculous.
