Ricci Stars as 'Penelope'
Christina set for Witherspoon production
Variety reports that Christina Ricci is set to star in Penelope, a modern-day fable about a woman under a curse who tries to end a lifelong string of bad luck.
The film is being produced by Reese Witherspoon's Type-A Films and financed by Stone Village Pictures and will be directed by Mark Palansky, whom will be making his feature film debut.
The movie is set to begin filming in January '06 after Ricci wraps work on Black Snake Moan.
