'Resurrecting the Champ' Trailer
A look at the Hartnett and Jackson boxing tale
Josh Hartnett and Samuel L. Jackson star in Resurrecting the Champ, a film that has made the festival circuit and hasn't really garnered huge acclaim, but still will be released via Yari Film Group on August 3.
The was inspired by the true story of an up-and-coming sports reporter (Josh Hartnett) who rescues a homeless man ("Champ", Samuel L. Jackson) only to discover that he is, in fact, a boxing legend believed to have passed away. What begins as an opportunity to resurrect Champ's story and escape the shadow of his father's success becomes a personal journey as the ambitious reporter reexamines his own life and his relationship with his family.

The title makes it sound like Rock's going to be a zombie. That's a movie I would go see. This, not so much.
Sorry about my typo. I meant to write that it sounded like Rocky would be a zombie, not "Rock". My other comments stand.
