'Resident Evil': It's Zombie Killing Time!
New online game offers a little something to do

I can't believe how slow the news has been the last few days, but I couldn't be more thankful as I am putting the final touches on a brand new top ten and completing a 58 movie Fall 2007 Preview together for you that kicks all kinds of ass. However, I did have a moment of down time and Sony sent over a link to their new online game based on the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction.
Since my gaming abilities are rather limited I didn't do so well, but I took a little time to mow down a few zombies. The game sticks you in the middle of the Las Vegas desert in search of fuel. You lead a small resistance as you are scavenging abandoned towns for whatever fuel is still left. With all of the surrounding cities sucked dry of fuel, your only chance of reaching Alaska (and finding other survivors) is to scour Las Vegas.
After the first level you will choose your convoy vehicles and make your way through Vegas in search of survivors and, you guessed it, more fuel. In each level you will be given a mission that describes where you must drive your convoy. Once you've reached the mission point, use the weapons you ve collected to defend your convoy against blood thirsty zombies.
The missions are cake mix as you just use your arrow keys to drive your little car to the next spot on the map. It is when you have to shoot the zombies that things get a little harder.
