A 'Blade Runner' Sequel Will Close the Door on the 'Is Deckard a Replicant?' Debate

Ridley Scott has long been firm in his beliefs on whether or not Blade Runner's Deckard is or isn't a Replicant, and if a sequel is actually made it sounds like the question will no longer exist.

Is a Possible 'Blade Runner' Tie-In Part of the Problem with Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus'?

Word is there may be a few tie-ins to Blade Runner in Ridley Scott's Prometheus that will be revealed on the Blu-ray? Could this support the idea the filmmakers had no idea what they were doing?

'Blade Runner' Magazines and Convention Reel and Scott Wants Harrison Ford in the Sequel

One film I've changed my tune concerning over the last five years is Blade Runner, a film I originally disliked, but have since come to appreciate immensely. Today I have a couple goodies for you from the original feature, plus a rumor regarding the planned sequel.

Ridley cott now plans to re-enter the world of Blade Runner. I expect he shall return to the world of Thelma and Louise soon afterwards. At best, this has the reek of an old man too tired to imagine new worlds. At worst, it's a crass money grab wrapped in brand-name marketing.
