Ratner is BREAKING VEGAS
Brett Ratner has signed on to direct MGM's gambling flick Breaking Vegas with Kevin Spacey producing. The film will be based on Ben Mezrich's nonfiction bestseller "Bringing Down the House," about six M.I.T. students who were trained to become experts in card counting and subsequently took Vegas casinos for millions in winnings, with Spacey eyeing the supporting role of the students' M.I.T. professor.
Ratner, directed the upcoming Pierce Brosnan/Salma Hayek caper flick After the Sunset and is now prepping New Line's Rush Hour 3, Fox's Josiah's Canon, with Sean Connery and has signed up to helm several projects at various studios around town including two untitled pitches set up at Sony.
