I personally think this movie is overrated. But that's me…
I think it's overrated as well.
Overrated perhaps, but it is a good time nonetheless… Already own this sucker on DVD… Might have to go out and get the Bluray though.
When did it become popular to call everything that's generally considered classic "overrated"? Some things can be popular and awesome. It doesn't make you cooler or better just because you say you dislike something that is universally loved. It just makes you pretentious. That love usually exists for a reason.
well I think that just because there is some universal love out there doesn't mean I have to love it. I preferred Reservoir Dogs, but then again, I guess I am in the minority.
They are both great! Just because you don't enjoy the movie as much as most people do doesn't mean it's overrated. It means your opinion is in the minority.
You guys should be having this debate over here where I ranked Taranatino's movies based on my opinion. Would love to have your opinions added to the discussion. It's an older article, posted before Inglourious Basterds, but still worthy of conversation… I think.
Personally, I think Pulp Fiction ranks among of the best movies of the 90's.
Overrated doesn't necessarily mean bad, you just don't hold it in as high of regard as the majority of other people do. I don't think Pulp Fiction is as great as a lot of others, but it's still solid enough that I'd purchase this.
Although I think Pulp Fiction is a great, fun movie, I'm content with my 2-Disc Special Edition DVD set.
