As if you hadn't seen enough, the international division of 20th Century Fox has just released this new, three-minute launch trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus, which begins hitting theaters in international territories on May 30 followed by a slow roll around the world until its June 8 release here in the States.

Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Guy Pearce, Prometheus is described as the creation of a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

You can check out the new trailer directly below and get more on the film, including my gallery of 88 pictures from the film, right here.

This new trailer is filled with tons of new footage/dialogue and can even be considered very spoiler ridden lol. Makes the previous ones look masterful in comparison when it comes to building suspense without giving too much away.

Fox has gone overboard with the advertising, I hope this is the last one (not that I can stop myself watching).

Goodness me, each trailer for this movie gets more and more intense. Who'd have thunk a major studio would be happy making an expensive tentpole that looks so bleak.

It doesn't really look that bleak, it just looks obnoxious and loud enough to make sure that kids with ADD can pay attention.

Seeing Noomi Rapace laying on that table barely clothed gives me the hawt.
