'Potter 5' Has a Helmer
Yates on for Phoenix gig.
Even though Goblet of Fire is yet to be completed Warner Bros. is wasting no time getting their prized franchise rolling on the next installment Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Just days ago it was confirmed that Michael Goldenberg would be penning the script for the fifth film and now it seems that a director has been signed as well. David Yates is looking to be the man to fill the directorial shoes for producer David Heyman and the WB.
Yates will be following in the footsteps of Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron and Mike Newell who is currently helming Goblet of Fire.
Yates is expected be be signed next week.
