Potter 3D on Blu-ray
Parts 5 and 6 going 3D Blu
Warner Bros.
Warner Home Video has hired Prime Focus, the same visual effects house they partnered with on Clash of the Titans, to convert Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from 2D to 3D for future Blu-ray releases. There is no telling when exactly the process will be completed by but Variety reports instead of rushing through the job as they did on Clash of the Titans, production on these two is "proceeding methodically."
Director David Yates is still finishing up work on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and Part II, and will not turn his attention to the 3D back titles until early 2011.
