Eddie Murphy continues to try
Man, I didn't want to be the one to say it, but Eddie… give it up. Once again Eddie Murphy is out to prove that kiddie comedy featuring Eddie Murphy in 10 billion different roles can be funny. This time he will fail with Meet Dave a film in which he plays Dave Ming Chang, newly arrived in New York City. There’s something about him that’s not quite right – for starters, he seems remarkably out of place and uncomfortable in his own body. And for good reason: "Dave" is not a man at all, but a ship made in the image of its miniature-sized captain. It’s Eddie Murphy in Eddie Murphy in Meet Dave.
Yup, that's the official synopsis, and it pained me to print it just as much as it did for you to read it.
