POSTER: Across the Universe
Taymor's flick will soon see the light of day
Following the interesting first trailer for Across the Universe (see here) there was word that things weren't exactly moving smoothly. An article in Variety said that Revolution Studios head Joe Roth recut director Julie Taymor’s film without her knowledge and tested it. As a result Taymor was considering taking her name off the movie, a movie that was supposed to hit theaters in September of '06, but is now set for release September 28, 2007.
The pic is described as a love story set to Beatles tunes in the 1960s and stars Marilyn Manson's new squeeze Evan Rachel Wood and features cameos by Eddie Izzard and Bono.
There is no word on what cut will be used, but no matter how you cut it, it still looks interesting, and here is your first look at the poster for the new film. Also, if posters are your thing I just added the poster for Daddy Day Camp here and 30 Days of Night here.
