This Poster for 'Shame' is Definitely Not Safe For Work… Right?
COMMENTS
I mean, it's obvious what this is right?
I almost want to say this new international poster for Shame is fan made, but I have a feeling that's just my expectations of domestic studios infrequently attempting anything risque.
The below piece of art comes from Cine1 and for anyone that knows anything about the Academy-ignored movie starring Michael Fassbender it leaves very little to the imagination.
Tell me, will you be putting this up on your wall?

I don't know what's better, that poster or this advertisement from the pages of Newsweekly.

I didn't understand what was so NSFW about the poster when I first looked at it. Then it hit me and I was a little surprised that they went for it.
I still don't. Please explain
It's semen
…animal semen
hahah, nice one Travis
What? No Santorum? Y'know, froth and … stuff.
Dude…….
I marvel at his aim and volume.
Yeah, especially that it's his own back. It's a picture of Fassbender's back, that they used on that poster.
That's pretty … unclassy. It kinda cheapens the film a bit and sends the wrong message. I like the ad in the paper so much more.
Tasteless.
Not to the taster.
Tasteless
The newsweekly one is awesome.
The poster is no more graphic than the movie itself. Is the movie tasteless?
Eh, I think it discounts the film as a whole. Makes it seem more porno-esque than it really is. Speaking of Shame, I went and saw it again the other day…. that last scene with Fassy breaking down is incredible.
I disagree with all these posts calling the poster tasteless and trashy. The film is about sex addiction, and it ain't pretty. It is an unhealthy, perhaps even repulsive addiction, and the unpleasantness of the subject couldn't have been displayed more appropriately than it is in this poster.
Kudos for the people behind this poster for going the whole distance.
So if it's about sex addiction, we should be focusing on how it is destroying the guy. Not on cum.
i thought it was soap.
i saw the movie and if it's about a sex addict,i know it's not a porn movie but with the first poster,it's very vulgar
Weird, it looks like every other piece of Carey Mulligan related memorabilia that I own.
I don't find it any more tasteless then the "beautiful" GWTDT international poster.
not sure if you seen these other ones brad, but take a look
