Goose lives! Well, sort of... This morning Walt Disney Animation revealed the complete voice cast of their upcoming animated feature Planes and among the names you get a Top Gun reunion as Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards will voice fighter jets Bravo and Echo.

Of course, we already knew Dane Cook was voicing the film's lead character, Dusty, a prop plane with high aspirations who turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps him qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty's courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.

Additional members of the cast were revealed in the pages of USA Today along with character photos of each. The voice cast includes Stacy Keach, Cedric the Entertainer, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Roger Craig Smith, Gabriel Iglesias, Carlos Alazraqui, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, John Cleese, Priyanka Chopra, Sinbad and Colin Cowherd. I have included all 14 character images in this post along with the corresponding voice directly below.

If you missed the previously released trailer you can check it out here. The film hits theaters on August 19 from director Klay Hall.

I was hoping Tom Cruise was the Top Gun star you were referencing. I won't be seeing this unless it gets glowing reviews but Cruise would be a nice addition.
I don't believe he's ever voiced an animated character, has he?

      No, I don't beleive he hasn't

Colin Cowherd is the only interesting name on there. Val Kilmer ugh....

This looks and sounds awful, there is no way I will be seeing this, even if I hear good things about it.

Well, I suppose if this does well we'll be able to look forward to "Ships" and maybe "Motorbikes." And where will it end - pogo sticks?

Still do not understand the hate that the movie CARS gets... I know it is not the best Pixar movie, but it is my personal favorite of the Pixar movies...

Any rate... I know this was originally supposed to be released on just DVD/Blu-ray and Pixar has no involvement in it, I can see why people are automatically going to hate on it too... but for me, I'm staying open minded about it (as I do with MOST films), I think it could be a fun animated movie... And I like the mini Top Gun reunion..

So it's not the best Pixar movie but it's your favourite Pixar movie? No offence, but that makes no sense to me. I personally like the first Cars although I don't love it, I also don't understand the hate for it. But Cars 2...ugh...that one was so bad people can hate on it all they want and I won't have a problem with it.

Could people please quit doing crap like this in the comments? It's really annoying to be honest!
