Finally, the rumors can be put to rest as Daniel Craig has officially been labeled the next James Bond. The news comes via a press conference in London today in which Craig arrived by speedboat. Craig will apparently be playing a tougher, grittier and darker 007.
When asked how he celebrated once the news came out Craig jokingly told reporters, "[I] had a couple of Martinis."
As far as Casino Royale is concerned director Martin Campbell said it will be "definitely darker, more character, less gadgets". On top of that neither Q nor Moneypenny will appear, Mr Wilson added, but M will return.
Now Campbell is looking for a woman to fill the "best Bond girl part" ever.
