Phoenix, as the Man in Black
Vanity Fair previews Phoenix in Walk the Line.

Already set for an April 22, 2005 release date the 20th Century Fox film Walk the Line takes a look at the early years in the life and career of music legend Johnny Cash. Joaquin Phoenix is tapped to take on the role of Cash and his female co-star is none other than Sweet Home Alabama's Reese Witherspoon as she plays Cash's wife, June Carter.
Vanity Fair got a chance to snap some shots of the two in their line walking garb.
