Peter Berg Likes 'The Losers'
Another DC Comic property set for WB.
Warner Bros. along with producing duo Peter Berg and Akiva Goldsman are teaming up to bring DC Comic property The Losers to the big screen.
The story centers on a double-crossed CIA black ops team known as "The Losers" and the film will follow the exploits of the team members as they are attacked by their own agency and left for dead. They set out to learn why they were betrayed, and to avenge the wrong, as well as other injustices they encounter.
Berg is set to pen the screenplay and may take on directorial duties. Currently Berg is set to direct The Kingdom and Bran Mak Morn before he would take over an helming duties on The Losers. His recent features include an acting turn in the Tom Cruise starrer Collateral as well as directorial duties on Friday Night Lights and The Rundown.
