Perlman Talks HELLBOY 2 and the Franchise
Comics Continuum was able to get some quotes from Ron Perleman, a.k.a. Hellboy, at the Motor City Comic Con regarding the recent announcement that Revolution Studios was going to move forward with the franchise, and here is what he had to say:
Hellboy was "the greatest gift in my career," Perlman said during the panel, in which he fielded questions from fans.
"It was such a longshot, particularly since I never had a track record at carrying a big studio film," he said. "It became too good to be true. It was such a work of passion for Guillermo del Toro, that it became a passion for everybody on board.
"Not only did he make the film he set out to make, he made a better film."
