Perhaps Jude Law is Dr. Watson in 'Sherlock Holmes'
Here's a rumor I am leaning to believing
Recently Entertainment Weekly has been pretty good on the casting rumor front so when they say Jude Law is in talks to star in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes I tend to believe them and expect an official announcement to follow soon.
If cast, Jude would star alongside Robert Downey Jr. as the title character in a Sherlock adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original tale, but it is also said that the "Sherlock Holmes" comicbook played a part in the creation of the new story.
Also starring in the feature is Mark Strong as the film's villain with production is scheduled to begin in October.
At one point Russell Crowe was rumored to play Watson, but that was proven to be a lie.
